Summer Song is a 12 by 12 inches piece I recently made using all handpainted fabrics. I do this from time to time, but finally decided to use some of the fabrics and make an art quilt. I like that piece! It has such a wonderful feeling of transparency. Could you comment on the technique?
And by the way, do you know what scrim is? Always thought it was cheesecloth, but that doesn't seem to be right.
